Shayna is passionate about nurturing both plants and people and believes deeply in the Torah value of tzelem Elokim, that every person is created in the image of God, and that this divine spark connects us both to one another and to the earth we are entrusted to care for.

Shayna enjoys volunteering, hiking, and spending time in nature. She has also knitted so many hats that she has run out of heads to put them on. She majored in psychology and had the privilege of working with children in different settings, including school and day camps.
